With the Herberts® Electro Impregnating Resins,
Industrial Coatings offers a wide range of products which fulfill
all the demands made by electrical machinery and transformer construction
and are suitable for all processing methods.
1K Impregnating Varnishes
1K Impregnating Varnishes are based on unsaturated polyester imides
and can be used up to thermal class H. They are solventless and
100% reactive. The products are UL listed and are also part of the
EIC/UL listed Electrical Insulation Systems from Engineering
Polymers. Thus, a greatly simplified approval process is possible.
The range includes 1K Impregnating Varnishes containing styrene,
or vinyl toluene or DAP. We offer also our low Emission 1K Impregnating
Varnishes containing acrylates.
The product range has been extended in the past few years by 1K
Impregnating Varnishes for our new electrical-UV process. Their value to the enduser
is a very high profitability. Thus, the job time for electric
motors can be reduced a typical 5 - 10 hours cycletime down to 1 - 2 hours, and
in addition with an 80 % reduction in energy consumption and considerable
PUR Casting Resins for the electrical industry
This product range includes a variety of polyurethane casting resins
to seal electrical components and transformers. These include products
manufactured according to the UL 94 Standard up to flame class V-0,
of course using halogen-free substances.
Impregnating Varnishes and Finishing
The comprehensive range of Impregnating Varnishes and Finishing
Varnishes for the electronics and electrics industries can be used
either independently or as additional protection of impregnated
windings against environment influences, such as, humidity and molds.
They are available in transparent or pigmented.
